Exciting things are ahead for Platte Valley Middle School athletics! Platte Valley Middle School has joined the Junior Patriot League (JPL). 

The JPL will create new opportunities for student-athletes to compete, grow, and prepare for the next level.

One change coming to volleyball and basketball is the move to an A, B, C, and D team format instead of grade-level teams. This structure allows students to compete at the level that best fits their abilities while also helping prepare athletes for the high school experience. Football, wrestling, cross country, and track have already been using a similar model successfully.

The league will also begin charging admission to help offset officiating costs:

• Adults: $%
• Students & Seniors: $4
• CHSAA passes accepted at all league events
