Spelling Bee

Platte Valley Spelling Bee 2024-2025

  • Weekly practices on Monday, will begin after fall break (November 4 - February 17)

  • PVMS Oral Spelling Bee will take place on Thursday, January 16th at 5:30 pm in the middle school cafeteria.

  • The top 8 spellers will move on to the League Spelling Bee, February 18 at Roosevelt Middle School, 8:45am.

  • The PV Oral Spelling Bee winner qualifies to participate at the State Spelling Bee in Denver.

  • Study, study, study the 2024 word list and use the Scripps National Spelling Bee website for further practice! GOOD LUCK!

Important Spelling Bee Dates

  • Practices Begin: Mondays, starting November 4, 2024 - 11:20-11:40am

  • School Competition: Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Platte Valley MS - 5:30pm

  • League Competition: Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Roosevelt MS - 8:45am
